Polycarbonate

Barberini® polycarbonate lenses are among the thinnest available and are known for their lightness, flexibility and high impact resistance, ensuring comfort and durability. 

They are resistant and internally colored for long-lasting tint, ensuring stable vision over time. They provide high UV protection, while also filtering blue light for enhanced visual comfort.

They are also available in a Bio-circular version (polarized and non-polarized), combining fossil-based and bio-circular feedstock derived from recovered biological waste and residues (such as used cooking oils). This material contains at least 65% bio-circular content, calculated through a mass balance approach.
